Costa d'en Blanes is predominantly home to villas, almost all of which have a breathtaking sea view. Portals Nous, which borders Costa d'en Blanes, has two beautiful beaches: Platja de s'Oratori and Platja d'en Blanes. Costa d'en Blanes is also an attractive place for nature lovers: from there, various routes lead through the surrounding forest. One of the routes circles the mountain Puig Gros de Bendinat. It is 486 metres high and can be hiked to just over 450 metres.

In addition to various water sports activities, Costa d'en Blanes offers another attraction: Marineland Mallorca. On the grounds are a dolphinarium, a seal tank, a tropicarium and an aquarium. Various animal shows take place several times a day:

  • Parrot shows start at 10:30, 13:00 and 16:30.
  • The dolphin and sea lion show starts at 11:30 and 14:30 respectively.
  • At 17:15 you will have the opportunity to watch sharks, tropical fish, monkeys, flamingos and reptiles.

Other attractions at Marineland Mallorca include the train, the pearl plunge pool and the adventure playground.

Incidentally, the village of Costa d'en Blanes is only a 20-minute drive from the island's capital, Palma de Mallorca.  

The place is also ideal for golf fans: the 18-hole Real Golf de Bendinat course is in the immediate vicinity of Costa d'en Blanes: The golf course is only a 7-minute drive away. It is located in a wide, wooded valley and offers spectacular views of the Mediterranean Sea. The course has 18 holes. The greens are very long and designed with many slopes, which requires good ball placement. A handicap of 36 or 28 is required as this is a challenging course.

Costa d'en Blanes is ideal as a main residence for families with children: There are three international schools in the immediate vicinity.

Many schools have waiting lists and may not be able to confirm enrolment immediately, so it is a good idea to start looking for a suitable school early.
